In the current field of LCD splicing screens, seamless splicing screens have become a better choice due to the 0mm seam characteristic. Seamless splicing screen is a product of combining LCD screen and LED display screen, making it compatible with the display characteristics of LCD screen and LED. Since its launch, this technology has been widely loved by users in indoor conference halls, exhibition halls, media centers, and other occasions.

The principle of seamless splicing screen technology

The core of the seamless splicing screen solution is a liquid crystal display technology called 0mm splicing. The screen it uses is still a regular LCD screen, but after splicing, the original splicing frame is completely eliminated through LED compensation technology, achieving the goal of visually accessible splicing.

Because the liquid crystal inside the liquid crystal is liquid, an edge needs to be wrapped around it to avoid external impact. For example, both our TV and computer screens have frames, but because splicing screens are spliced together, the frames are relatively small, usually only a few millimeters. Borderless design is difficult to implement in current technology, so it is necessary to indirectly change the defects of the seams.

After years of research and development, our company has found an LED combination processing technology, which forms a luminous strip through the arrangement of ultra small spacing LEDs. Through sticker design, the generating unit is connected to the LCD panel and placed at the junction of the LCD screen. At the same time, a layer of highly transparent resin material was installed in the front for packaging. When the LCD splicing screen starts displaying, the content that was originally covered by the outer frame can be restored through software control, thus integrating with the LCD.

How to design a seamless splicing screen solution?

After understanding the technology of seamless screen splicing, we should design corresponding solutions according to our actual needs, or use them in conference halls, media centers, or exhibition halls.

At present, the finished products of seamless splicing screens are mainly 55 inches, with a size of approximately 1215 * 685 millimeters. Therefore, first, the number of screens spliced can be calculated by the location of the installation area. In addition, different application functions use different control systems. If using a conference hall with multiple computers outputting signals, a matrix can be used; If using display surveillance videos, a splicing screen CPU is required.

The difference between sewn splicing screens and conventional splicing screens is that during the installation process, seamless splicing screens cannot be maintained and installed before use, and can only be maintained after use, because the LED bonding strip at the screen splicing point is between two screens. If it cannot be separated, it cannot be pushed out independently of a certain screen.

In fact, compared with traditional LCD splicing screens, the biggest advantage of seamless splicing screen solutions is that they solve its seam problem, making large screen displays no longer affected by physical black edges, greatly improving the overall viewing experience of large screens. This is also a major reason why seamless splicing screens are favored and their application areas are constantly expanding.
