LED displays and LCD splicing screens account for nearly 80% of the splicing display market share. However, LEDs use bead packaging technology, while LCD splicing screens use LCD technology, so their display effects vary greatly, and their advantages and disadvantages are also obvious. 1、 Advantages of LED display screens.
1. No seams

2. Low contrast.
A small contrast can result in insufficient brightness and layering of the image, leading to poor image quality, which is not as good as LCD splicing screens.
3. Good after-sales service.
The phenomenon of LED display beads falling off, dead light, etc., which is more frequent, will increase the after-sales rate and cost.
4. Auxiliary cooling is required.
When installed outdoors, the temperature of LED displays can sometimes be higher. To achieve rapid heat dissipation, air conditioning will be installed, which is equivalent to an additional cost.
The advantages of LCD splicing screens.
1. High resolution.
One major advantage of LCD screens is their high resolution, with each screen having a resolution of 1920 * 1080. The spliced resolution can be stacked to achieve full HD display, such as playing 4K videos. As a result, the clarity of LCD spliced screens is very high.
2. Appropriate brightness.
The LCD splicing screen has the same brightness as the TV, suitable for long-term viewing without glare. Indoor use of LED display screens may feel high brightness and harmful to the eyes.
3. High contrast.
Clear contrast, with rich and delicate visuals.
4. Stable and durable.
In the later maintenance and repair, the proportion of using LCD screens is relatively low, which can greatly reduce the cost of using LCD screens in the later stage.
High power display.
LCD splicing screens can achieve segmented display within segments on a single screen basis, as well as display different screens on multiple computers, with powerful display screen functions. If there are 5 computers in a conference room that need to be displayed synchronously on the screen, computer signals can be allocated on each LCD splicing screen and the matrix can be converted.
Defects in LCD splicing screens.
1. There are seams
Due to the limitations of the LCD panel itself, LCD splicing screens will have a circle of borders during splicing, creating a stitching space several millimeters wide, which looks like a black edge. If full screen display is used, it will affect the viewer's experience.
